16 Lakeview, Pelham Retreat

Just a lovely caravan, seperate from the main caravans with the lakeview. The decking had lovely seats and was very peaceful sitting outside. As soon as we walked in there were little touches, such as dog biscuits, treats for us and a personal note. It was well decorated, clean and the best caravan I have stayed in. The kitchen area was lovely and the bedrooms were great too! There was a shop we used, but usually went off site to visit places everyday. The barrier to get into these private caravans/ lodges means you take the fob with you to get in and out, but it’s nice to know you are separate and in a peaceful area. We will definitely stay here again!

Due to the nature of caravans, as we slept in 2 separate bedrooms, I had the smaller bathroom, which is always small in any caravan! Nothing the owners can do about this! But that is why I didn’t give a 10 for this caravan.

We had an amazing time with our 2 dogs, fabulous luxurious caravan. Sam and Marc were amazing and very helpful. The welcome hamper and juice and milk were great . I particularly enjoyed the Prosecco, lovely touch. We walked to the beach/gannel along the path, takes around 20 minutes. Lovely walk for the able bodied. Lovely clean site, second time we have been this year. Lovely relaxing part of the park with a fab lake view. Highly recommend:)

We had a great stay - loved the location, free wifi, parking space, comfort etc

A slightly better TV would have been good and the supply of at least bath towels.

Lovely location. Very quiet and peaceful, but easy distance to Torquay. Site had nice little bar and food van. Helpful for a Sunday 7pm arrival. Tranquil lakes to walk around in evening (enjoyed watching the bats). Great caravan, really well presented (loved the bedding) and everything you could need and more, inside and out. Grateful for it having the little extras already there, eg. washing up liquid, cloths, salt & pepper, soap etc. Really nice welcome pack too (although didn't use some of it, the thought was appreciated). Good pre-arrival info, easy to follow, and helpful site map.

There weren't really any negatives. Maybe instructions on how the oven/heater/ninja worked (but I am sure we could have figured tem out if needed), unless I missed this. Only thing noted to fix - loo roll holder in second bathroom very loose.

Amazing caravan. Had everything we needed and more. We had a lovely week. Loved seeing the ducks morning and evening.

Nice and quiet area. Fishing lake 10 steps away. Perfect place.

We loved everything about this property. Great location, facilities and overall feel.

Couldnt fault it

The caravan was so well equipped, cooking utensils, emergency kits and games. It was a fantastic place to stay.
