We enjoyed the dipping pool, security of the house and location is excellent. Near to shops and restaurants and the beach. Beds very comfortable. Comfy sofas and good to have Netflix.

Cupboards are high in the kitchen but we are small people!

It says we have the whole place to ourselves yet the landlord lives there too. so it’s not private accommodation. There were as a big apartheid sign in the kitchen which immediately made us uncomfortable as we were all people of colour. The landlord randomly burst into the house Sunday morning before we had to check out and started throwing curtains open aggressively and barging into our rooms which was very unprofessional and felt like an invasion of privacy.

The place is neat and very nice. It's also very close to the shopping mall and Hermanus cbd. It's value for money. It's located in a very nice area. There is free wifi. I also liked the pool although we did not get a chance to swim.

Honestly, my family and I did not see anything not to like about the place. This place ticked all our boxes. Very quiet environment. My kids liked the fact that they could still watch their favourite TV programs on Netflix while being away from home.

Nothing wrong

The property was fine as expected but overall experience was horrible. Spacious and neat.

We were unfairly treated and the discrimatory eviction had no basis. The owner was just straight up down right condescending from the onset and we felt unwelcomed as she was unfriendly. Om our check-in she complained about 5 people arriving as we had booked as four but had been accompanied by a tour guide. After check-in we went to dinner at local restaurants and came back at night. We had dinner with relatives in the area and came back to our booked house with them to finish off our engagements as family. The relatives were about to leave as no overnight extra guests were welcomed. While sitting at the lounge the host came with security forces and ordered us to leave because we were having guests even though they were leaving. There was no noise and no partying but just a quiet chat amongst us as relatives. We were evicted unfairly at night with no warning and no where to go. Our relatives dont have space to accommodate us and our cars. We slept next to the road after dropping them. We are aggrieved and suffered both emotionally, financially and otherwise due to this unfair treatment. We felt undermined because we are black and discriminated against. We experienced racism from this host and we humbly walked out with no resistance. Our country with so much history of segregation and apartheid, it felt like what our parents experienced then.

Spacious, tastefully decorated and the most comfortable bedding/linen, even the towels were Egyptian cotton

No dishwasher, which isn’t a deal breaker but nice to have when you’re on holiday Streaming service is not for exclusive use, so if you don’t log on in time, you cannot stream dstv or Netflix

Carol-Ann is a lovely lady. Very helpful and accommodating, letting us check in early and leave later. Location is good, a short drive to the mall and Hermanus town and also for visiting the vineyards. The property is secure with parking. A nice big shower in the Jack & Jill bathroom. Comfortable beds in both bedrooms.

A toaster and a frying pan would be helpful in the kitchen. Also, perhaps, a couple of sunbeds by the pool as there is space for them alongside the table and chairs provided.

Everything was great very nice place.
