Excellent location with a lovely view. Amazing view. Lovely hostess.

We saw great reviews about the apartment and were looking forward to staying there. The apartment is really spacious with a lovely view but unfortunately it was not clean. We're sure this isn't usually the case but it was very unpleasant. In addition, the apartment is on the second floor and there is no obstruction between the lower floor and the accommodation floor - the space is very large and therefore very cold. There are heaters but it took about 12 hours for the apartment to heat up.

Spacious apartment type with sea views.

We were a family of 4. But the bedrooms setup (2 large beds) is better suited for 2 couples. Not really 2 teenagers, brother and sister…However the problem was solved with a trundle bed placed in the lounge.

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed the sunsets and the sound of the waves at night. The beach was a 3 minute walk from the bottom of the garden. The location is excellent with New Plymouth and the National Park easily accessible.

Location was great - sea view and short walk through bush garden to get to beach via a reserve. Had everything we required and friendly host who was available if we needed anything else

Parking was a bit awkward but no big deal.

Lovely sea view in a quiet area.

The property is looking a little tired and would benefit from some redecoration. Also the cooking facilities are basic as there is no full size stove in the kitchen area. It has a small two ring hot plate and a separate small plug in oven.

I got the lockbox instructions in December by email and couldn't find them anywhere on Booking . com on the day. So was confused for a bit but Suzee and Paul were very helpful thank you

The location and view was amazing

Wasn't clear in the description that you use same front door as host. Sounded like it was a separate apartment. Kitchen facilities not too great to cook for a family. Was more a kitchenette. Utensils need updating.

Definitely noticed the small things that make it a home away from home. Freshly cut flowers in the lounge. Home grown tomatoes in the kitchen. Super comfy bed, lovely fluffy smelling towels and bedding. Seeing the sea and hearing it was bliss! Will definitely be back
