Sunnydale, Cartmel

A cute, designed, and clean house, equipped with everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable vacation. We absolutely loved the large glass door facing the garden and the open view of the field with the sheep. The kitchen is convenient and well-equipped. We didn't meet the hosts, but we received a nice welcome letter beforehand with all the arrival instructions. The village itself is charming, with two Michelin-starred restaurants!

Although the bedroom windows are equipped with indoor blinds, daylight filters through early in the morning and wakes up anyone who isn't used to sleeping in the light. In addition, the kitchen towels (and some of the bath towels) had a strong smell of damp laundry that hadn't dried properly. It would be a good idea to add hooks or racks for drying towels in the bathroom and bedrooms

This has a lovely homely feel. It is really well equipped and it was nice to be welcomed with thoughtful gifts in the kitchen when we arrived. It is in a great location for exploring the south Lakes area and Carmel has some lovely shops and restaurants to visit.

Lovely bungalow walking distance to the village. Really comfortable and being pet friendly made a big difference to us.

Lovely property; it was spotless. It had everything you could possibly need and it was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Pub & shop within walking distance. Tesco express under 10 min drive. The property has a gorgeous view of the fields & sheep. Would definitely stay again.
