Everything was perfect! The host is a very friendly person, the apartment is right in the middle of calle Gran Via that is the heart of Madrid. I would recommend it without any doubt.

The only good thing about the apartment was its central location. It is really convenient to get to most of the places in the city centre.

NOT RECOMMENDED! The property was not the property advertised on the booking site, it was of much worse quality, and the owner did not contest this fact. Instead, he blamed us and sent us the link to airbnb (where the other apartments were advertised in addition to the one at booking). The windows were fully covered because of the construction works, so we could neither open the windows nor enjoy the view. As the payment was charged just a week before coming, the owner just decided to lie about the property conditions and refused to relocate us or to give any refund or even apologize. Overall, it was very frustrating experience, and we did not get any satisfactory customary support when we raised these issues. Not recommended for stay (as you are buying a pig in a poke and have no real understanding how your apartment is going to look like).
