Nothing!!!

Worst accommodation I've ever booked through Booking.com. It was a basement cellar one floor below ground level, with two small windows. The space was stinky and humid, with a loud humidifier provided. After paying through Booking.com, I was forced to pay a €100 deposit (no access code was given until deposit payment), which wasn’t mentioned on the booking.com listing while the agency claimed it was in the 'fine print'. I received numerous lengthy emails, dealt with redundant information, and had to fill out forms, received links to pay deposit. The deposit was returned six days after check-out, but only after filling out refund application form…again paperwork. In short, it was a disaster. Booking.com should ensure better standards and avoid listing such inferior options.
