USThe host never provided entry instructions and was unreachable on the date we reserved. We arrived at the property at the agreed time but were unable to gain access.
I booked this house in February 2025 and received a confirmation, but when I arrived in June 2025, the property was not accessible. I tried calling and texting the host for hours with no response. I tried every phone number, text, and message through my Booking.com app but only received a "we will get back to you in 24 hours" response. Finally, I reached Booking.com_India, who also tried to contact the host to no avail, and eventually canceled the reservation, offering my party of 5 (3Adults, 2Children) a hotel in lieu of the 4 BR house. When I refused, Booking.com asked for my credit card info to charge me $60/night for canceling the house!! Later that day, the Host finally responded by text to say that the house had been double booked, and he had a reservation with a different party through Air B&B.
