Oceanfront Inn, Private Balcony, 2 Full Beds #16

Location on the beach was exactly as described, BUT no one told us that they have been restoring the beach since March and working 24/7 with cranes, tractors huge machinery noise and lights! For most of our time we had no access to the beach! Anything on the website said that work was going to be finished in April.

We had one minor problem in the room and I had a number to text…someone came right away and fixed it , but it is really strange not to have a manager on site. There was also a significant faucet leak in the tub…drip, drip, drip, but that was hardly noticeable with the outside noise.

Room was on top of a bar with daily live music so it was very loud. No on-site management. Loud motorcycles in and out during the night and patrons fighting in the parking lot. When I checked out early and requested a refund management would not return my calls.

Old Florida mom and pop motel Clean and tidy with nice views from private balcony but a bit dated and could use a full length mirror and a few updates like wall air conditioning unit next to bed and balcony chairs were crappy. All in all it was a good stay.

We really liked the Island Beach Bar and restaurant. Amanda the bartender and also our server was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. She had some really good suggestions and we went with it. The bushwacker Amanda made us to go was oh so good. I should also mention Dani as she was very friendly and made sure to tell us about the specials. It was busy for lunch and I could see the girls made a difference. A really nice young man helped us get ice. He even came and put it in my cooler and put the cooler in our car.

We were really disappointed in the beach. The erosion really left no beach at all.I did drive 3 minutes to the park and the beach was just fine and we were quite happy as the reason for our visit was to just relax on the beach.The room was newly painted and up to date but nothing really great. I knew there was no elevator and that was ok but it was 26 steps to the second floor.

Excellent location, good room size.

For breakfast the restaurant open to late.

Always love coming to this place and such a beautiful location so much fun so relaxing

I was empressed with the bar and grill staff.
