Kruger Park Lodge - Private Villa 514

We like Kruger Park Lodge Location, the playpark for the kids and how close it is to Kruger Game Reserve.

The fact that our house was not available. The Host put us in a different house with only 3 bedrooms, unrelated people had to share a room. On the Sunday afternoon at 1:30, while we were in Kruger Park, she called and informed me that we have to move because there was a misunderstanding between her and the owner of the house. She offered us a sub-standard house and we refused it, she then offered us one of Kruger Park Lodge's 3 bedroom Houses which we move to for the remaining 2 nights of our stay. She wasted our short holiday time with family due to the fact that we had to pack up, move and un-pack again, she inconvenienced us and I think she was very unprofessional. Will think twice before I book with Booking.com again.

Restaurant and staff was exceptional

Not clear instructions of breakage deposit

The comfort and peaceful atmosphere. The house had everything one could ask for.

Smelling carpet on our arrival on day one. We had a bad experience with delays for deposit(damages)refund. It took about three weeks

Beautiful facilities around the villa. Hippo dam was fascinating

The villa was very damp, it just smelt of damp on the carpets. This particular villa is also desperately in need of an upgrade. Very old school carpets and furniture. A broken outdoor chair, doors that are hard to open and close, light bulbs not working etc.

Bedrooms were enough for my family no sharing of beds

The setting is beautiful & peaceful

The host was not very responsive & the reception staff we’re pushing us to the owner for assistance around booking matters
