Prospect Lodge at The Bay Filey, sleeps up to 6, and 2 dogs stay for free!

Lodge was awesome, really comfortable and cosy. Kitchen well equipped. Location stunning. Plenty of outside seating areas.

Bathrooms were freezing. We took advantage of the pool for our disabled grandson, we were shown disabled changing area on our first visit..this was very disappointing.. changing bed too low and surrounded by water, freezing, no hooks to hang clothes, no lockers, ?staff clothes hanging over heater, dirty towels on bed, spiders crawling about..not fit for purpose!!! 2nd visit we decided to use general changing area again disappointed..only a few small cubicles difficult to have privacy when grandson needs support to change, one in disrepair and others were covered in water! Numerous lockers broken! These facilities NEED A DRASTIC UPGRADE!!!

A beautiful property. Clean and well maintained

I felt it was wrong that we didn’t get new bedding and towels at the end of our first week. For the money etc I would have expected that and a quick clean. This is not usual and we were very disappointed and somewhat annoyed at this

The lodge was lovely but the cleanliness let it down got me

There were cigarette butts all over outside the property especially on the gravel where I was parked, the main shower didn’t drain so flooded when I used it so we had to clean it all up and not use it, and flies!!!!!!! Flies were everywhere all over hundreds of them all up the curtains carpets even in the wardrobe flying at me when I opened it, my son wouldn’t use his bathroom as they’re must of been 50 in there many dead around the Floor, they were even dead ones on the kitchen surfaces I couldn’t cook or eat in there, we left a day early as it was simply unbearable. We even went into the village for fly spray but this didn’t help at all far too many horrid.

The propriety was lovely. Good location, clean and comfortable. I was however a little disappointed with the bedding, quilts and pillows were tired and very thin. Other than that, the furnishings were clean and comfortable. It was nice to see that they had thought of the little things like making sure there was plenty of crockery etc, iron, hairdryer and games. The area around the lodge was great for the dog with plenty of room to walk him. The outside areas were also well equipped with nice a table as well as sofa and chairs.

This comment is more about The Bay facilities themselves. The park was lovely and we were very surprised when we arrived but……the bar/restaurant and pizza place were extortionately expensive, certainly not the quality we would expect for the price.
