Chalet 137 - South Shore, Bridlington

It was clean and everything was as described

It was a beautiful chalet, well laid out and had everything we needed :) Jo is a lovely host and the welcome package was so appreciated! It was in a great location and felt way more private than any other chalet we have stayed in too. The outside area was lovely and spacious too. Very happy with the chalet!

This was our personal preference, but we found the main bed was uncomfortable as it was a super firm mattress. Again, this was our preference and anyone who prefers a firm mattress would probably love it :)

We have really enjoyed our stay. The chalet was very clean, there was enough space for a family of 4 and a dog, and the kitchen was well equipped! We had very nice weather so could use spacious space outside to play badminton. Would use it again.

Sofa and mattres in double bed are a bit uncomfortable, no big issue if you only use for couple of nights.

The lodge was beautiful outside and in, very cosy, clean and the hosts clearly thought of everything a guest may need. We were impressed with the streaming options, wifi and modern technology (plenty of sockets!). We didn't even need the heating on in the evening as the lodge was nice and warm. There were plenty of options for cooking, all the equipment we'd need and nice sized kitchen with breakfast bar. The decor was tasteful and some lovely details. We enjoyed the welcome touches. We found the site peaceful and loved being surrounded by bunnies. The beach wasn't far away. Will definitely be back! Thank you 🙂

While there was a ramp up to the lodge and everything was flat which worked well for disabilities, it would be good to have some grab rails in the shower/bathroom for support.

Nothing really

The chalet was beautiful, location was perfect as it was close to everything at either end of the site but still private enough to sit out relax, and even the dog, who usually barks at everything, loved the decking to sunbathe and pigeon watch lol the finishing touches were very welcomed, dog towels, treats for the dog and welcome tea/coffee/milk and biscuits were very much appreciated on arrival, the owner Jo was lovely and checked in with us and even let us arrive super early 😁 will definitely be back next year! Also the other half was loving the WiFi speed and connection as the previous times we've stayed on site it's not even connected x

Great location, this is our 2nd visit here, couldn’t fault it. The hosts thought of everything.
