Dinner choices though limited, we enjoy the hotpot on the 1st night and duck dish, omelette and veg/minced meat soup the 2nd night. The bathroom is very decently equipped. Beds are on raised frames, comfortable. Nice elevated location with magnificent valley view. Good outdoor sitting facility with power points.

Breakfast has a limited choice Mainly pancake with either banana or strawberry. Asked for omelette with pancake on the 2nd day. Rooms are not sound proof, can readily hear the next room talking. Room services like the shower and hand towers should be provided before the guest's arrival tea and coffee sachets to be provided in the room would be nice. Communication with the host/service staff are largely via google translate.

Le staff très gentil au demeurant qui ne parlait pas l’anglais ni même avec le traducteur de langue très très difficile de se faire comprendre .Chaque demande était un défit . Le service était poussif , nous n’avons pas eu le choix dans le repas du soir ,18 h c’était trop tard apparemment . La viande de poulet seiche avec plus de carcasse que de viande . Expérience culinaire extrêmement décevante pour le prix .sur -coté . Malgré un magnifique paysage qui domine à180°une fois dans le logement ,le cadre au alentour n’est pas beau, constructions à moitié inachevées des travaux en cours , route pour y parvenir défoncée et sale.

It’s also a fantastic base for trekking enthusiasts who want to explore the stunning landscapes of the region. The host, a kind and helpful young lady, made our stay truly special. On the day we arrived, we were the only guests, and she went out of her way to prepare a delicious hotpot dinner just for us. It was a heartwarming experience that felt like home. The retreat is exceptionally clean, calm, and surrounded by breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys. Staying here offers not only a relaxing escape but also a meaningful way to support local communities and experience the authentic Sapa village lifestyle. We wholeheartedly recommend AP Retreat to anyone visiting Sapa. Spend a night or two here—you'll leave refreshed, inspired, and with lasting memories.

The road to the property is a bit narrow, and some construction is underway to improve access after last year's landslide—showing the area's resilience and ongoing development.

Away from the crowd but easily accessible, this homestay is a beautiful property with an amazing view. Special mention to the staff and the warm hospitality 🤩

Everything about AP Retreat is beautiful... it's only been open a little while and the building is fresh and new. The dream of the owner, Linh, you can tell that a lot of love has gone into building the homestay. The location is spectacular and is very convenient for visiting Lao Chai and Ta Van. Our hosts arranged onward transfers to Hanoi and a wonderful trekking tour. We really felt welcomed by the family and adored the peaceful surroundings...highly recommend staying here! We came for 1 night and stayed for 3!!
