Modern North Bay Apartment Sea Glimpses & Views

The apartment location was perfect for what we needed and the apartment itself was lovely and comfortable for our stay. We appreciated the parking permit and was lucky to find a space on the day we arrived, although was tricky when we returned back one evening and had to pop out later to move the car again. The hosts have thought of everything to accommodate their guests and it’s really does offer a real home from home.

For all of the positives of the property, the external noise at nighttime was a real issue for us and we didn’t get much sleep either night due to the road noise and passers by shouting and talking loudly until the early hours on both days. The blinds do not block out the sun so we were also woken around 4am when the sun came up. Some blackout curtains would certainly help and may muffle out some road noise. Unfortunately due to the poor sleep from the noise and light, we would not return to this apartment when visiting relatives again which is a shame as otherwise it ticks all of the boxes.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and provided all the amenities that we needed. Everything worked. Louise was very helpful answering our queries before our arrival. We like the location.

Great location. Fantastic shower and very comfortable beds. The two bedroom apartment was great, there was everything that people needed. Could live there permanently.

Ideally situated for the bus (10 minutes walk) to Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay (you do need to change at Swan Farm for both destinations). Close to Peasholme Park, which is well worth a visit. Also could see the sea through the front windows. The apartment was very well presented and welcoming. Tea, coffee, small carton of milk and some delicious ginger and chocolate chip cookies were there to great us!! 😋😊 Beds were extremely comfortable. Bathroom had a lovely large walk in shower, no claustrophobia in there. Kitchen was fitted out with everything you would need. Best of all was the contact from the hosts checking that everything was going well.
