Castle View, 94-96 Friar Lane

It’s near enough to the centre. There was a game machine in the room, a welcome surprise for my two boys.

I seldom give negative reviews, however, I feel that I need to say these for the improvement of the apartment. First, the place had a smell of damp upon opening the flat, then the floor is quite dirty, but we are just sleeping for a night so, I didn’t care that much. Second, there was no toiletries offered, which for travellers like us don’t pack such, however, Tesco was to the rescue. Third, no toilet brush, which I think is necessary. Fourth, there was no toilet brush and no shower rug to dry the feet after a shower. Lastly, the shower is quite high, tricky to get in if you are elderly, and scary to slip coming out as there was no handle.

Die Lage war ausgesprochen gut. Man war innerhalb einer Minute am Schloss. Die Buchung war einfach und unkompliziert.

Leider hatten wir keinen Schloss Blick sondern einen auf den Parkplatz. In Bad waren leider keinerlei Ablagen für irgendetwas

Badly stained carpet in communal areas - needs to be replaced and some areas looking at little tired - bathroom with cracks in plastic at base of shower.
