Spacious and beautiful view.

Nothing it was great

The bothy was lovely everything hand crafted the location was fantastic to watch the sun setting on the hills was amazing ,host came to introduce himself on arrival.

The view and style of the cabin

The view and style of the cabin was fantastic. However on the first night we were there it was freezing no heating i tried to contact the owner to get the system working as there is a lack of instructions and the full house was blowing wind through. We didn't get an answer and had to message through here, they picked up the message late afternoon on the second day. We were told by Rob that as we had arrived late 6.45pm after work, we weren't greeted, as he was at the cricket in Durham. He showed us how to use the heating but spoke to us like we were children saying he didn't understand how we could have been cold as its always hot in the cabins even in the winter as he built then he put in the kingspan. So we didn't feel able to tell him about how the bedding was dirty and marked, there was hair all over the property from animals and we had to clean it all. He is very proud of the place hes built and so he should be but there is issues and he needs to realise that before he has a file full of warning about how he will charge for dry cleaning if the bedding is not used that the bedding is clean. That he will charge for any cleaning over the standard 2 hours clean that its clean when people start thier stay.

my daughter found the beds uncomfortable, i didnt mind at all. Everything else was fabulous- amazing location, lovely bothy, excellent facilities

We loved the Bothy, facilities were excellent and the view!...can't describe it you just have to see it.

Nothing to not like

An enjoyable stay in this remote location. Great hosts, very responsive and made you feel at ease. Ideal for families with a dog as lots of space to roam about. Accommodation had all the accessories needed, mixed feelings about the sleeping arrangements, although as described, bedding and mattresses not overly comfortable and bunk bed area less spacious.
