Maui Kamaole M106 in Kihei

Nice condo, but a little pricey when they added the cleaning fee. But we enjoyed our stay and the hot tub was nice too.

Great place for families - close to everything!

Unit was fully stocked with everything a family needs for tennis, the beach, and for cooking meals for yourselves. Also clean, safe, and walkable for the kam beaches and great restaurants. Pools and common grounds are very well kept

We arrived on New Year’s Eve. The very next day I get a knock on the door and as I was going for the doorknob, a person let himself in. Claimed he was maintenance and if everything was ok. I promptly notify VASACA and they said they were going to look into it and someone will be by to get the front door keypad activity. It all started at 12:15 pm and they didn’t get back to me until 6pm!!! That’s half a day lost because I stayed in the room not knowing if someone was going to come in again. TERRIBLE!! Will never book here. The day we leave we lost power because of a storm that passed thru. We come to Maui at least twice a year and this is not the place to stay for us.

The location was great, but the property was super outdated. The dryer didn’t work, which is a huge reason for booking there, the bed was old and uncomfortable and the foldout bed didn’t have a bottom sheet. I used the top sheet and contacted Vacasa each day asking for a sheet and they kept saying they understood how frustrating that must be and the team was looking into it. No sheet, just grubby blankets. The TV was very small with an unclear picture. Not an accurate description at all.

Overall, okay. When we arrived there were bugs crawling over the kitchen countertop. In addition, the hot tubs jets in both areas were often off. Made me wonder if the management was trying to save money. However, the exterior of the property was very well kept and the gardeners were friendly.

Cockroach baits all through condo and zillions of teeny bugs on the counters (which we think were probably infant ants as the small ones disappeared toward the end of our stay and larger ant-like bugs littered the condo). Maui Kamaole is our favorite place to stay when visiting Maui and we have never had an issue with previous units before. Great pools and large spacious units. This particular unit was ground level and we loved the lanai and the decorating. If not for the bugs, we would have rated this with 5 stars all around.

Property alone was beautiful, but unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our stay. People upstairs were running after 8pm making noises when we respected the house rules. We had a lot of ants and bugs inside the condo since check in to checking out.

Beautiful time as usual…

The place was fully equipped. The loft space and separate room was perfect for our family. Great view of the ocean! Got to watch the sunset every night! Very family friendly!
