Host & Stay - Four Seasons

The size of the house is ideal for family get togethers, hot tub is great, as is the games room. House fully equipped with most things. Lovely riverside location. TV and shower issues raised and responded to quickly, although nothing suggested worked!

It was dark when we arrived and there was no floodlight so we struggled to find the key box. House is quite dated, main bedroom shower wasn’t working properly, bad TV reception made tv unusable, some items in games room were broken, very squeaky floorboards!

We got really lucky finding this little gem for a family get together for my family of 12. The garden was exceptional for the 5 grand sons and 7 adults. Every bedroom was perfect for our group. The kitchen had everything that anyone could want and the lounge, dining room and kids play room were just perfect. 3 of our family even went for a swim in the river at the end of the garden! The Jacuzzi was a bonus and was really enjoyed by our group . Everyone in the group loved it.

There were no negatives with this holiday home. We are really pleased that we stayed there. Would we book again if we get the chance ..ABSOLUTELY

Location, view, the fishing, space.

No Hot Water issue which was Not rectified soon enough. We spent our first 24 hrs not able to shower as there was No Hot Water. The installation of the new boiler had not been tested properly so didn't work for the hot water. This meant spending time on trying to get someone to listen and care enough to resolve the problem. We asked beforehand if the BBQ was gas or charcoal, we were told Charcoal but it was gas. Wasted money on charcoal. Contact information out of date in hand book. Email and phone no's didn't work.

The location was amazing and the river really made it. The property was well laid out and easily accommodated all 11 of us plus a baby plus a dog

The standard of cleaning was ok. The basics like toilets were good but when you opened draws etc they were quite grubby and there was a lot of cobwebs

Lovely size property for 3 families with kids to holiday together. Plenty of parking. Beautiful garden with mooring at the end. Nice collection of toys/boardgames for kids, swing, trampoline etc

Unfortunately the burglar alarm (which we had not set and did not have instructions for) went off without warning at 05:00 & 03:00 two nights in a row. It woke everyone up, including the toddlers, which disturbed the night / next day! We called the emergency number but they were unable to guide us on how to turn it off. The alarm spontaneously stopped after 10min or so.
