Villa Alegranza - LH190 By Villas Now Ltd

Playa Blanca is untypical of the Canaries and more like Greece in the way restaurants and shops are laid out rather than in commercial centres. Playa Blanca is clean. This villa is in a good location for access to everything.

This year it was a little windy. The location of the villa is approximately a mile away from the centre so you do need to be mobile or get a taxi.

The villa had everything we wanted and the pool was perfect, which meant our trip away was very relaxing,

It could have been made clearer re: air con requiring payment to use! Also it would be helpful to know a pool cleaner comes twice a week and on which days as it was alarming when they just let themselves in

Villa Alegranza is very private and in a quiet location only 15 minutes walk from the sea. It has everything you need for your holiday and we particularly enjoyed the heated swimming pool and the jacuzzi, which you pay extra for , but worth every penny. The bed has a fabulous mattress on and is super comfortable. The area around the pool has been recently landscaped with non slip porcelain tiles which feel safe and look wonderful.

The sun loungers are old and very uncomfortable as previously mentioned by other holiday makers. We wanted to spend our week relaxing in the villa but the sun loungers gave us back ache. At least one of them was broken. There are 2 bathrooms, one has a great shower in a wet room and is quite modern but the other has a bath, the taps on the sink were hard to use and the toilet seat was flimsy. As there was only 2 of us we used the shower room which was great.

Location was perfect

You had to pay extra for hot tub. This was not on the website until we booked it we got an email 2 days later. Would have liked to know before we booked it
