1BR Extended Stay Best Location in South Philly

Liked everything about this place clean and near everywhere we needed to go. Our host was very attentive to our needs. I'd book again

We loved the location! We really wanted to feel like locals and experience the heart of Philly and this spot definitely did the that. Walking distance to so many delicious restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Very close to the Italian Market and walking distance to Rittenhouse. square.

The bed was pretty hard which made it difficult to get a good night sleep.

First surprise began with check in. It's turned out I had to leave 500 dollars deposit and had to send my id (ok for hotels but not ok for private owners). At this moment I realised why host's policy reservation is non-refundable. Data protection is something unknown here. Then when we arrived it's turned out the owner does not provide us a key to building's lock, I had a key only to our unit. I had to ring the bell, wait for replies. Sometimes I had to stand 5 minutes outside just to get into the building. If I had more than 2 nights reservation, I'd just do my best to cancel the rest.

The place appeared very attractive.

There were roaches. I almost never complain about a booking but withing 5 minutes of arrival, I saw a roach skitter under the refrigerator. Hoping for the best, we spent the night. The very first thing the next morning, I went to open the refrigerator and another roach! We left early but were still charged a $100 cleaning fee in addition to our night's stay. So not worth it. I've booked many with booking.com but this is a deal breaker. We had to find another place to stay at the last minute and waste our vacation time moving to the hotel.

Location was great! It was clean and had everything we needed! Owners were spectacular with communication and all needs

I actually liked the stairs but caution for those that cannot climb several flights of narrow stairs.

Location is amazing, being so centrally located in South Philly and close to everything on Passyunk is hard to beat. The apartment was squeaky clean and well appointed, our stay was very comfortable.

It was big and roomy and clean, and the proprietors were very accommodating with my questions and very patient with me

I have Parkinson’s disease so being on the third floor was done very easily handled, but it was worth the time
