I would not recommend this apartment or host. My experience was disappointing on multiple levels. Communication with the host was poor—she was largely unresponsive and showed little concern for guest comfort. She initially confirmed a late check-out, only to later say I had to leave by 11am due to "incoming guests," which felt dishonest and poorly managed. The apartment itself leaves much to be desired: the lighting is dim and uninviting, it gets uncomfortably hot, and no basic cleaning products are provided. To make matters worse, the listing is misleading—it's advertised with different prices and ratings across platforms, which raises serious transparency concerns. Additionally, the host claimed that parking would be “very easy” to find, but that was far from the truth—it was a real challenge and added unnecessary stress to the stay. Noise is another issue: there’s a patio right next door, and you can clearly hear the neighbors, which disrupted any chance of relaxation. It’s clear this host lacks a basic understanding of hospitality. Unfortunately, my stay in Playa San Juan was negatively affected as a result.
