"Great location but disappointing facilities, including dated bathroom and missing basic supplies. Not good value for mon"

Great location across the road from the beach.

Looks like no-one checked the basics. No salt,sugar or coffee. TV remote batteries not properly loaded (caused some frustrations trying to get it started). TV randomly shuts down. No plus in bathroom sink. Bathroom dates from 1970s.

"Ideal beach holiday stay"

Quiet, comfortable, cosy, clean, beachy decor, very close to excellent cafe, across the road from the beach, kitchen was well equipped, nice shampoo & liquid soaps provided.

"Give it a miss"

Certainly wasn't how it looked, ocean view from driveway, certainly not value for money. Very old. In my opinion, the place needs demolitioning. On the one high note bed was comfy.

"This was by far the most disappointing and expensive accommodation we had on our 12 day road trip of NZ."

It’s opposite the beach. Free parking. Host sent clear instructions for key access. The mattresses were comfortable.

The condition of the accommodation is very worn and dated. The exterior appearance is alarmingly dilapidated. The whole place had an overwhelming aroma of wet dogs. The tv in the lounge was unusable.

"Relaxed , close to all amenities , friendly location and the best swims on that stunning beach"

The privacy , the simplicity and quiet considering great location......everything we needed ; well supplied with all kitchen necessities and great private outdoor seating area and of course that paradise of a beach directly across the road.

We didn't not like anything as it was everything we saw online before booking it and good value !
