The location was exactly as expected and met our needs

It was filthy, unkempt and totally not as shown in the pictures

Handy location with a couple of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Kitchen is well stocked.

It needs a lot of TLC. The outside is scruffy with peeling paint, rattan furniture that is falling apart, the pool has a ring of grease from sun screen around the perimeter that dirt has stuck to. The oven doesn’t work (is extremely old) but we managed to use it as a grill and used the BBQ instead. Downstairs mattress was extremely uncomfortable. The fridge wasn’t working on arrival (on a Wednesday) and we’d been shopping, so my husband had to try and make do and buy ice to keep things cool. We reported it and someone was sent out to fix it Friday. When they pulled the fridge out, the filth behind it was unbelievable and unacceptable. We woke up on the Friday morning to no hot water and tripped electrics (ie no power) but again, someone was sent out Friday to fix it. Apparently, there was ‘an exposed wire in the garden and the rain had got into the wiring’ which I was less than impressed about seeing as I had a 4 year old with me that may well have touched it!

The villa is in a great location and has pretty much everything you could wish for facilities wise. There are ample shops, bars and restaurants opposite as well as a bus stop should you want to venture into Playa Blanca. The villa was clean and the views to the sea are great. The staff we met during our stay were friendly and helpful and we appreciated the change of bedding towels half way through our stay. The outside area of the villa is quite private too and not really overlooked. I would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back next year.

Our only minor grumbles were the pool cleaning was unpredictable with no one turning up one day and late another. Gardeners also turned up unbeknown to us they were coming. We also didn't receive the arrival details despite messaging for them. We got it sorted by calling the number on the villa gate as the one on booking.com didn't work? Apparently there had been a software glitch so hopefully a one off. As I say these are minor grumbles and in no way spoiled our stay, we just like to get settled for the day and chill out so find it helpful if there is a known routine.
