GBBeautiful property in a beautiful location. Everything was spotlessly cleaned. The location was ideal as we were attending a wedding in the nearby village. Lady who came to meet us (host/cleaner) was really lovely

GBGBThe bed was soft and comfortable. Loved the garden outside. There was also good parking.
The kitchen sink tap was faulty. In the shower area, there was no floor mat for stepping out, and the absence of a shower screen meant that the toilet area became wet after use. Additionally, the cold water tap in the shower was not working, so only extremely hot water was available. This was particularly frustrating, as my husband was unable to shower after completing a 70 km ultramarathon. The bedsheet had visible stain marks, and there was no dish sponge provided. The only welcome item in the fridge was a small bottle of milk, with no other snacks available. To make this particularly frustrating we had no way to contact the host as we called her and she didn’t respond and when we messaged her in the Booking.com app we didn’t get a prompt response until we had checked out and her response was flippant
GBGBThe room was a good size and the bed very comfortable the host supplied milk so a morning cup of tea was possible. Parking on site.
The communication from the host / booking.com was somewhat lacking. In particular the exact location of the property was not shared until I rang them. Similarly the property is co-located with some others, all the others have a sign on the driveway letting you know they are there, not so the music room which coupled with the inaccurate booking.com map made finding it a challenge. Also only one mug was provided which seemed a bit mean given the generosity with milk / tea bags
GBDespite having directions from Booking.com took over an hour running up and down the road trying to find 'The Music Room'. No signage existed and no one to ask and more importantly couldn't get hold of the Host (apparently her phone was on silent).
Waited over 3 hours.
