"A calm place to stay in the middle of an exciting but hectic city"

The staff were friendly, there was a nice restaurant upstairs and it provided an oasis of calm in a hectic city. The hotel is very close to Girish Park Metro, about 10 minutes walk from the Indian Coffee House on College Street, maybe half an hour from Howrah Bridge and 40 minutes from Kumortuli. It’s centrally located (on Central Avenue!) and a good place to start exploring historic North Kolkata.

Nothing that I can think of.

Very noisy between 11.00pm to 2 .00 am otherwise a great place

"All good except the payment by cash part."

Close to everything

The hotel didn't accept international credit cards like HSBC, UOB, Standard Chartered etc. Instead asking us to pay in cash, which is troublesome. International credit cards should be accepted.
