"Long delays, lack of hospitality, and an unhygienic balcony significantly impacted my stay."

I had booked a room with a balcony and, as I was arriving early, I contacted the hotel in advance to request an early check-in. The front office staff initially agreed to my request. However, upon arrival, I was informed by Aishwariya at the front desk that the room was not yet ready and that there would be a delay. I understood the situation and patiently waited in the lobby. At 2:00 PM, which was the standard check-in time, I approached the front desk again. To my disappointment, I noticed that the designated staff member was frequently away from the counter and appeared more occupied with casual conversations than attending to guests. Additionally, I was not greeted with a smile or the level of courtesy one would expect in the hospitality industry. Aishwariya once again informed me that the room would require another 15 minutes to be prepared. Unfortunately, those 15 minutes turned into well over an hour. Eventually, another staff member informed me that the room was finally ready for check-in. What was particularly disappointing was the lack of proactive communication during the delay. No one checked on me, provided updates, or even offered basic refreshments, despite the inconvenience being caused by the hotel. Upon finally entering the room, I discovered that the balcony, one of the primary reasons I had booked that particular room, was extremely dirty and covered in pigeon droppings. This significantly detracted from the overall experience and reflected poorly on the hotel's housekeeping and maintenance standards. Overall, the experience fell well below the level of service and attention to detail that I expected.
