Very easy walk into the town. Nice outdoor sitting area. Modern and comfortable

Not a lot to like on this visit as there are buildings going up directly behind the garden and apartment above are doing renovations from 8 am , which includes persistent drilling and loud banging.

The apartment does not accommodate 4 adults comfortably as there is only one 3 seater sofa to squash 4 people on. My daughter and son in law had to find other accommodation and we had to buy 2 easy camp chairs so we could congregate during our holiday.

The location was great with lovely views of the surrounding hills. It it is an easy walk to the main part of town and even walkable to a few wineries. The complex was safe and had assigned parking located within the electronic gates. The unit was very spacious, bright, clean and well equipped. The master bed was comfortable (didn’t try the bed in the second bedroom but assume same), and lots of storage for clothes and stuff. The back patio was lovely for sitting outside and enjoying a latte in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. It was very handy having a washing machine and drying rack in the unit. The water flow in shower was over the top powerful so one had to be careful to keep it lower than half full as the drain could not keep up with the flow. I’m mentioning this not as a negative, just something to be aware of to avoid overflow onto the floor.

There are a couple minor things that would have made the place 110% perfect: (1) a Nespresso type coffee maker with a milk frother for making breakfast lattes, and (2) some local TV channels for basic news and weather.

Fijne ruime en rustig gelegen accommodatie. Comfortabel en alles voorhanden. Hele goede service ! Op loopafstand van hoofdstraat Franschhoek.

The property is close the centre of franshoek and the vin yards are very accessible

Spacious and very clean modern apartment on the edge of town but still walkable.
