Lovely little homestay, well located and quiet. We rented the small apartment with two bedrooms: it was great — very functional and convenient for a family of four. The owner was very friendly, and our children loved playing together.

Quelle belle manière que de terminer un voyage chez Arwati, dans une petite maison traditionnelle indépendante au sein de ce havre de paix familial, à l’abri du tumulte de la rue, a 10’ de la mer à pied, à 15’ de l’aéroport (le neveu d’Arwati nous y a conduites). Que ceux qui recherchent le standing impersonnel des hôtels passent leur chemin !

Congenial host. Lovely gardens. A/C in sitting area/bedroom. Balinese style building .

No pool. No a/c in second bedroom. Not conducive to privacy. Shower in bath was awkward for person with mobility issues.

The place was extremely dirty. There were lizard droppings around the kitchen sink, and the supposedly clean spoons were still oily. The kitchen counters were stained and clearly not properly cleaned. The bathroom was just as bad. The bathtub didn’t drain properly, leaving me standing in a pool of dirty water during my shower. This level of hygiene is completely unacceptable. Additionally, the listing was misleading. It was advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but there was no proper wall separating the rooms, offering no privacy. Worse still, the guest in the other room had to pass through my bedroom to access the toilet and kitchen. This was a serious misrepresentation of the space.

We stayed here for 6 nights and really enjoyed it. Very spacious and comfortable, the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Fantastic property for the price. Short walk from the beach and restaurants.

Wifi would sometimes cut out for a short period but worked ok most of the time. The second bedroom didn’t have air con, just a ceiling fan so found it to hot to sleep in but may be fine for others.
