39 Villa Med - Ballito Getaway

I like that it was spacious and fully equipped as promised. The house was clean and the furniture was fairly modern. The host was readily available on SMS The host was so nice to let us check in an hour before the actual check in time 🙏🏿 The detailed instructions on email was very helpful WiFi was very good :) The outside eating area was a nice add on for having breakfast with a breeze

An incorrect code for accessing the keys was sent ( Not a biggy though) One of the plates on the stove was in a bad condition. We were scared to be electrified. I suggest covering it and putting up a sign till it’s fixed The bathrooms could use some revamping It smelled very stuffy on arrival. I suggest opening up the windows for circulation before the guests check in.

Location was decent . Apartment was spacious and had everything needed for a holiday

Our trip was planned as an emergency due to the passing away of my nephew. On arrival at the initial unit booked we had found that the en suite had not been cleaned with feces and worms in the toilet. After contacting the owner she was nice enough to change our unit which was quite comfortable, however the niceness ended there. Having had no sleep for the days prior and due to the running of errands for the funeral home we had been late on checking out from the flat. The host had no understanding whatsoever, all we needed was an extra hour to shower and pack up but we were threatened with being charged for an extra day. With all of the emotion and lack of sleep we ended up just packing up and leaving having to shower at a relatives house. It's sad that we live in a world that's losing its humanity where we can't find comfort in the place we book in a distressing time. in one room the aircon did not work. Lack of parking for a 6 sleeper unit . This should have atleast 2 parking

It's an incredible, lovely, and incredibly cosy place. From the moment you check in, the host is considerate and has made sure everything is well thought out. Her directions are clear and easy to follow. We were not quite ready for check-out, so we appreciate the cleaning lady's patience with us. The swimming area is lovely, well-proportioned, and features lovely braai spots.

The fact that there was no way to enter the complex without someone else opening it. The pool was very dirty and.no lights on at night. The stove was broken, light switches were not working and fan and light switch not working in 1 of the rooms. I honestly will not be going back there and would never recommend it to anyone else. When I called to ask about the keypad to enter I was made like I'm an idiot for not seeing it and there is no keypad to enter......

Said it was 1.5km from mall. But was not. More like 2.5km
