The Clock Tower & Dairy - Two x 2 Bed Barns with Indoor Pool

This was our second stay here, a lovely peaceful retreat in the middle of beautiful countryside, but near a number of excellent pubs and within striking distance of Henley and Reading. We arrived to a lovely little welcome hamper - bread, butter, jam, milk and eggs. The accommodation is excellent - two lovely sized bedrooms with really comfy beds. The bathroom is great, as is the kitchen/living area. We were able to use the pool in the afternoons which is an added bonus, and could sit outside in the quadrangle. The friendly owners are on hand for any queries. We will be back!

Space and comfortable ambience and welcoming hosts.

The Clock Tower is an ideal get away in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Fiona made us very welcome and we much appreciated the 'welcome' basket of goodies. The property had everything we needed and we appreciated being able to use the indoor pool. All in all a perfect break.

Very clean, tidy, well facilities, lots of cookware and salt/oil available. Free welcome breakfast (bread, milk, eggs). Wonderful swimming pool (warm water). Nice service (warm greetings in the morning and asked if we were staying well...) More surprised - offered us a larger room with 2 toilets.

Not such, but it is a bit remote and must drive there via small lanes... And there was no hair-dryer in the room, but could provide immediately when we asked.

The accommodation was clean, cosy and we have left incredibly well rested. Fiona was really welcoming to us and our one year old. It was lovely to take a dip in the pool after a long day exploring Henley. Would highly recommend, and would stay again in future. Thank you.

Beautiful setting and location

Watched 24-7. No access to the pool seemed as though it was used for personal swimming lessons and gatherings. Intruded upon every day - half backed man walked in one day. Had to bring own bedding due to allergies but then they left all feather items and animal skins in the room. Oddly interrupted everyone we went out. Told they don’t allow dogs but actually booked specially searching for three plus dogs. Water leak in kitchen roof and also kitchen under sink. Dirty pants and washing left in mums room. Told not to take dogs out without leads because of neighbours cats. Received messages and messages before even arriving and asked to move rooms. The notes don’t actually details their rules - such as making sure you strip all the beds etc before you go despite paying a fee of £65 per day for cleaning and were only asked on day 5 if we needed it cleaned - very odd items around the place - felt very very uncomfortable….

Private, really nicely presented and very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed the private pool.

The host was very kind, patient and helpful -we had some trouble arriving and she came out in the cold to help us find the place. The place is absolutely beautiful, we wish we could have stayed for longer and explored the countryside and enjoyed the amazing pool. The decor was lovely, great books selection, and a well-equipped kitchen. We'd love to come back and really make the most of it.
