We recently stayed here for a special trip and overall the room itself was lovely and clean, comfortable, and nicely presented, which made for a pleasant stay. However, there were a couple of issues that did put a bit of a dampener on things. There was a strange smell coming from the kitchen area which unfortunately made my fiancée feel quite unwell at times. On top of that, the shower drain was blocked which caused the water to overflow and make quite a mess of the bathroom floor. This meant we had to rush in the shower to avoid flooding, and I actually slipped and hurt my shoulder, which was quite upsetting on what should have been a relaxing break. It’s a shame, because apart from these issues, we really did enjoy the room and the location, and we would like to stay again in future. I’m hoping these things can be addressed, as with a little more care this hotel could easily be a fantastic experience.

The location was great & the accommodation was comfortable and clean.

The shower was slightly low pressure & the coffee machine wouldn’t work. Apart from that our stay was positive.

We liked having the bath in the room and having everything on our doorstep

The toilet seat was moving from side to side
