"This should be considered one of the best places to stay for a few days in Bryson City."

Steps to Bryson pretty much tells the story; the house is in walking distance of downtown Bryson City, NC, and even closer to the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad station, which for our trip was the main objective. The house was nicely redone recently, so it was fresh, clean, well appointed, and thoughtfully laid out and furnished. Beds were both kings and the mattresses and bedding new and comfortable; the bunk beds were perfect for young children. Appliances were new and extremely clean. Too cold for us old timers to jump in the hoy tub, but it was convenient and ready for use. The front porch would also be perfect in the right seasons.

Minor things: bedroom off kitchen door wouldn't close and it squeaked; the closet door was inop and needs repair; bathroom barn door needs interior handle to make it easier to open once closed.

"Great place to stay"

Nice view of the town. Hearing the music from the Polar Express heightened the excitement for the little ones. There were 9 of us (six adults and three small children), and there was plenty of room.

We only booked for one night, so we didn't get to fully enjoy the hot tub & firepit.

Loved the location. Perfect if you’re doing polar express. King bed was comfortable (kids complained the bunk beds weren’t super comfortable, but they managed). Nice kitchen. Nice bathrooms. Loved the hot tub. Very clean overall. Nicely updated.

Only thing was the sheer curtains in the bathroom but I spoke to the owner who was very nice and he said he would get some thicker ones. The driveway is very steep but we managed in our minivan.

It was SOOOO clean & bright!! Spacious, well appointed. Very comfortable beds, etc. (Gotta love that driveway) Absolutely no complaints. Highly recommend Steps To Bryson. We will definitely be back !!
