The owner arrived when she promised, she was very kind. It is not an easy job to find anything in that area of Genova, but the instructions she gave were perfect. The area looks a little bit tough, but do not worry, it is perfect for a family stay.

The door of the block is not so easy to open, but you can manage. On the other hand it is very loud. So during the night and especially during mornings, when people leave the block, you can hear it. And that is not pleasant, escpecially not while you are sleeping.

Easy to reach from the main station (Underground station very close by) and with plenty of supermarkets and cafes and restaurants nearby. And a short walk from the aquarium. We enjoyed that all three children could be in one room. Good air-conditioning and a nice newly renovated bathroom, with a good shower. The flat felt secure - strong lock on the front door. Arianna was friendly and helpful for check-in and check-out.

Female travellers on their own might feel slightly unsafe in some of the side streets at night.

Very good location, right in the city center, close to the main square with cafés and restaurants, and very near the most important palaces in Genoa. The apartment consists of a bathroom, hallway, kitchen, and two bedrooms. Each bedroom has two double beds, and one of the rooms also has a fold-out sofa. The apartment was clean. Nice kitchen equipment was provided. Air conditioning in every room was very useful. The bathroom was clean and adequately equipped. Towel sets were waiting for us on the beds – great. The apartment had a good iron and a hairdryer in the bathroom. Ms. Arianna, who came to give us the keys, was waiting at the agreed time. She was very kind and helpful. Just remember to bring cash to pay the tourist tax and the extra check-in fee.

The only downside of the apartment, in my opinion, were the beds. They were clean, but their frames and construction made them creak and shake a little bit. It wasn’t a major issue, but it’s worth pointing out. The mattress was comfortable and clean, as was the bedding. Additionally, in one of the rooms, something could be done about the wall behind the bed, as it looks very unattractive and definitely lowers the overall standard. The internet in the apartment works, although since it's based on a SIM card, the router needs to be placed near a window in one of the rooms. Due to the dense building layout in Genoa, don’t expect top-quality internet. The apartment is located in a rather narrow street where it sometimes smells unpleasant. However, this is not a downside of the apartment itself – it’s simply part of the charm of Genoa’s old town :)

I am reaching out from my daughter's account, I am her father, a 66 years old man who wanted to spend a good vacation in Italy, and we took out this accommodation because we were deceived with misleading advertising, the hostess tried to be kind but they lied about the place, she did not take all pictures properly, only the ones that suit her in order to make it look better but that is not the whole reality. She herself told my family and me that it is a dangerous place, she even said that we should not go out after a certain time, it is a dark place and it is located in an alley with two exits only, homeless people and people who consume drugs and alcohol sleep there, when you get there you can smell bad smells since these streets are usted as a bathroom by these people, food and many garbage along this streets, near this accommodation there is also prostitution, this is why this is not a recommended place if you have children or are elders like me, the stairs are very uncomfortable and narrow, making it difficult to go up and more so for an elder person like me and none of this was said in the advertisement. When I recently moved into the apartment the power went out throughout the apartment. Additionally, It wasn't clean at all. There was hair and dirt under the beds, the shower was completely clogged with hair. They didn't take the time to clean it before welcoming us. We had to stay there for 2 days since we needed time to find another place. We sent all necessary pictures to Booking The place is very dark, there's no light coming in. I could write a lot more, but in short, this is fake advertising, and I don't recommend it at all.
