Fantastic 4 days. Sauna was excellent, pool was excellent after hot days visiting temples. Breakfast buffet was great and meals also good.

Background music was pretty dated, could get some better and more modern playlists going.

The view is spectacular and so were the sights. Caring staff. Housekeeping and bar staff great!

The itinerary and access to the historical sites are absolutely the highlight of this cruise. The stops at places like Kom Ombo and Edfu are what make the experience worthwhile, and the cruise functions well as a comfortable way to move from point A to point B while seeing Egypt’s most important sights. Given the condition of many of the smaller cities along the Nile, the boat does provide a welcome reprieve from the surrounding chaos. The public spaces on the ship were generally pleasant and appeared refurbished, particularly the bathrooms, which felt more modern than the cabins themselves.

The overall experience does not match the “luxury” impression presented in the photos or implied by the price. The professional photography used to market the ship is very well done and presents the boat in a more polished light than the on-board experience ultimately delivers. While some public areas felt refreshed, the cabins themselves and much of the furniture were dated, and the rooms did not feel like a true five-star experience by Western standards. Food quality was consistently mediocre. Not inedible, but often looked dry, uninspired, and lacking freshness. Entertainment felt unstructured and improvised, with limited English communication and no clear cruise director or cohesive programming. Alcohol quality was very poor, and the experience was not truly all-inclusive, with water and many basics charged separately. Additionally, while the booking page states that smoking is not allowed, smoking is clearly accommodated and common, with ashtrays throughout the ship. For travelers from countries where smoking is uncommon in shared spaces, this can be unpleasant, though it does reflect broader norms in Egypt.
