Pat was very friendly and a good host. The home and surroundings were beautiful.

We flew in so we did not have coffee, creamers, or sugar for morning coffee. Pat offered us his coffee which was generous of him. Possibly little creamers etc. available for guests. Also, something to put suitcase on instead of the floor.

It was great value a reasonable distance from Portland.

We didn’t realise when we booked it that it was just a room in a private house with a separate bathroom. Bedroom door did not lock. However, we really only stayed long enough to sleep and were away by 6am so never met our host. Although he was exceptionally helpful on the phone.

I thought this was a hotel room I booked through bookings.com. It was a room in a house. I forgot the owners name but he was awesome and the house was amazing the bed was way more comfortable than a hotel. I would definitely book again when we go visit our son again.

Was not expecting the owners of the vacation rental to occupy at the same time. Was uncomfortable sharing at the same time… felt (obligated/respectful) that we had to be quiet due to their schedules

Very clean, quiet home with high end accommodations, safe and quiet neighborhood with good proximity to restaurants and shopping. I only saw the owner and son a total of three times briefly. Great value.

I'd like to see a motion dectector out front and under entry way porch for safety reasons. It was pitch black walking from street parking to front door and using a phone flashlight shouldn't be the guests responsibility to be safe from tripping and to read front door keyless entry pad. The listing seemed unclear this is a room and separate bathroom, and the rest of the home is occupied and shared with the male owner and his adult son. I did see room with separate bathroom in the tag line only after checking out but the write up didnt indicate this . I'd book there again though. The bedroom door should have an exterior lock so guests can lock thier room while they are out. I felt safe but I i am a single female renting a room with people I dont know and a bedroom door lock is common practice these days. I luggage rack or two would be helpful as well as a bedside table on the closet side of bed. The other side of bed has a table but both sides need a table. My stuff was on the floor. There was no dresser drawers and there's room in the large closet for one. There needs to be better lighting. The table lamp provides minimal light. I couldn't open curtains while dressing because of neighbors. I'd put a torch lamp behind the stuffed chair and much bighter lamp on the table. If the fan had a light i couldn't figure it out.
