Das Hotel ist einfach fantastisch. Jeder Mitarbeiter strahlt so eine Herzlichkeit aus, dass man sofort spürt, hier ist man willkommen. Alles ist immer sauber, nach einem Regen , wird sofort aufgeräumt und wieder alles sauber aufgestellt. Das Frühstück ist reichlich und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Freitag ist White Party mit einem Cocktail, und auf Wunsch Buffet mit einer anschliessenden tollen Feuershow. Es ist sehr ruhig und der Strand ist im Vergleich zu anderen Hotelanlagen immer sauber.

Wij hebben een fijn verblijf gehad bij Layana Resort & Spa in Koh Lanta. Het hotel zelf is prachtig, schoon en alles is goed geregeld. De kamers zijn netjes, het personeel is vriendelijk en de locatie aan het strand is echt top. Je merkt dat ze veel aandacht besteden aan service en comfort.

Wel vonden wij dat het hotel erg commercieel ingesteld is. Ze zien het liefst dat alle excursies, transfers en taxi’s via het hotel geboekt worden en je merkt dat ze het minder waarderen als je dit zelf ergens anders regelt. Daarnaast zijn de prijzen binnen het hotel behoorlijk hoog vergeleken met wat je buiten het resort betaalt op Koh Lanta. Ook merk je dat het personeel sterk gestuurd wordt op verkoop. Regelmatig voelt het minder alsof je geholpen wordt en meer alsof er geprobeerd wordt iets extra’s te verkopen. Het lijkt alsof hier intern ook KPI’s of targets aan gekoppeld zijn, mede doordat medewerkers bijvoorbeeld onderscheidingen zoals “medewerker van de maand” zichtbaar op hun naam badge dragen. Dat gaf soms wat minder een ontspannen en oprechte resortsfeer. Desondanks hebben wij een prettig verblijf gehad en blijft het een mooi, luxe en goed onderhouden hotel voor wie op zoek is naar rust, comfort en een mooie locatie aan het strand.

Quiet, peaceful and totally relaxing.

Pizzas on the menu were not great. That’s the only fault. Everything else was just spectacular.

This resort just perfect size, not to big so wasn't too crowded, but still people were around us. Our room was 'Deluxe Garden pavilion' spot on, clean and tidy with aircon and ceiling fan. The porch we didn't use due the hot. The garden is beautiful, lush around the pavilions. Spa section also high class, we loved 'After sun' massage. Stuff very helpful, friendly.

We wanted to visit Maya Bay, but the resort didn't have daily trip there, only combined tour to '4 Islands'. But this tour doesn't go to Phi Phi or Maya Bay.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, die Zimmer sind groß und schön eingerichtet. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Der Strand ist toll,reichlich Liegen freundliches und sehr hilfsbereites Personal .Viele tolle Restaurants in der nähe.

Für die eine oder andere größere Gruppe an Gästen mit ensprechender Lautstärke kann das Hotel nicht für.

This wonderful smaller resort is the ultimate in casual luxury. Everything from the beautiful gardens to the little details in the rooms is done with a keen eye for detail and the outmost care for the guests. The staff is simply wonderful, always helpful, attentive and friendly. The restaurant and beach bar right on the beach has a great sunset view and great variety in food and beverages. Breakfast selection is simply stunning. Poolside service at the scenic pools is great. The spa is next level, I can especially recommend the Layana signature treatment.

There were some inconsistencies in food quality during dinner service, maybe stress related? Price level for meals and spa treatments are very high for Koh Lanta.

L'hôtel est magnifique. La piscine avec vue sur la plage au coucher du soleil est tout simplement splendide ! Accueil thaïlandais : une équipe attentionnée, souriante et professionnelle. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est également excellent et très généreux.
