Yutori by b hotel - Homey w 1BR in Onomichi for 3 Ppl

Nice clean room. Good use of space. Comfortable bed and close to train station and bike rental places and luggage transfer.

Issue with copying address into Google maps and finding the correct building. Using booking.com map worked fine.

Good apartments in Onomichi for 2 nights. More space than in business hotels. Dry mode in shower was very helpful.

Sofa for 3rd person takes a lot of space, so hard to find a good place for table for eat. Kitchen zone is not so good planned.

This was the second time I had stayed at this hotel, and the host was very attentive by email, and in providing directions to the property. The first time my apartment was on the 3rd floor, which meant I could open the blinds and window- this time, it was on the ground floor which meant I could be seen by the close neighbours- so did not feel comfortable leaving the blind up, which meant the room felt small and enclosed. Otherwise the facilities was as good as before. I especially liked the fact that the bathroom doubled as a dryer which meant my clothes dried overnight.

The property was not fair from where the Shimanami International Cycling event was being held with about a five to seven minute walk from the train station and ferry dock. It was probably very comfortable for two but tight for three adults. Facilities were clean and the owner had made preparations for the three of us. The instructions to access the coded keyless entry were sent prior to our arrival. With exception to the washer/dryer (washer only), we were pleased with the access and location of the hotel.

The battery in the coded lock failed and we were temporarily locked out of the apartment. We were able to connect with the owner to get the combination to the lockbox and the physical key to the unit. While we expected the issue to be resolved by the next day, it wasn’t and the key retained until checking out.

Yutori Hotel is exceptional. It is brand new, spotless and thoughtfully, tastefully arranged. We stayed 2 nights as we were cycling the Simamani Kaido and thoroughly enjoyed the comfort, the convenience…but above all, our host, Taka ((do I have your name correct?) He is so welcoming, kind, and a pleasure to have met. His English is perfect too! Thank you for everything you do.
