Bigfoot's Hideout - A Hocking Hills Escape

was one of the cleanest properties i’ve stayed in, the rooms were pretty and the beds were very comfortable in my opinion. everything worked and it was up to date and beautiful. decorated beautifully as well. hot tub was bigger than i expected and was very relaxing for my family. kitchen was good and stocked nicely. fire pit area was perfect and all the options for lounging on the porches was so nice.

my one and only “complaint” would be that there were a few pieces of firewood, although buying it from somewhere near was easy- since we booked for 3 nights i feel it would be nice to have more than what someone who booked one night would also get. but that is a very small unimportant detail, wouldn’t say i disliked it since, again, it wasn’t a problem to go buy some.

Liked quiet location and large cabin with kids activities

Place was pretty but many areas of cleaning and maintenance were left undone. Bathrooms not very clean, lighting and fixtures dirty, doors and trim, floors extremely dusty Under beds like never swept in many many months, towels were all damp and musty yet folded in closets or hung and displayed damp which Made bathrooms and towel closet smell musty, grill was gonna be a 3 Hour clean job so didn't bother and definitely old cookware. Burnt up from past guests, stairs very dusty. Had to do dishes when left which most places don't make you. Wouldn't give a later check out when asked. Manager informed of these issues at check out.

It was wonderful. We miss it. It was perfect. Even though the Bigfoot posters caused me to dream that Bigfoot was outside the front door one night. We would definitely go back!

I really enjoyed how cozy it was! There were things for my boys and the whole family! It was an amazing quick get away! Would love you to come back!
