It was comfortable and clean and close to where we wanted to be

It was difficult to identify which house it was as no door number with address

Absolutely nothing. I am not the sort of person to write negative complaints and always write positive reviews where possible but there is not one thing I could say that was positive about this place or our stay.

Where do I start- on arrival you are greeted by an old broken gate, forget having a nice welcome guide on arrival, you are greeted by the smell and appearance of rising damp and a filthy hallway. The furniture is tired and smells. There was a hoover left in the living room which from the sight of the floor had never been used before. The kitchen was the worst and I had to clean all plates, croquery and glasses as well as cutlery even before using. There was a loaf of mouldy bread in the cupboard and gone off potatoes. There were no cleaning facilities other than a sponge and a tea towel and no spare bin bags. There was no way to control the heating or hot water and so the house was generally cold. The only positive was the shower was powerful but you needed this to wash the filth off yourself every day as there were hairs in the bed and stains. There were loose wires around the house and there was no point in having a TV in the bedroom as this didn't work. The garden is a tip and the area felt unsafe at night and the taxi driver told us we shouldnt stay here. The weirdest thing was in the morning at 10am when checkout is 11 a random woman and a teenager let themselves into the house without knocking and explained they were coming back to clean. No amount of cleaning will fix this property. Students wouldn't even stay here. We expected basic for the money but not filthy and broken.

There was a hole in the wall and some of the windows had been broken into

Good size, plenty rooms.

No hot water was available.

The house was very spacious, there was 11 of us including 3 children and there was ample room for is all

The house needs a full make over inside and out, cracked windows with blue sticky plastic on them to keep them together, ill-fitting blinds and curtains, marks on walls and skirting in bathrooms, broken cupboard in living room with wires for the TV which was also broken exposed, gates to the property rotting and need replacing and forecourt needs a good clean
