"Awful! I had to find somewhere else to stay"

I arrived to the property and it was filthy, not cleaned since the last guest who clearly checked out some time before. Bags of food waste and rubbish hanging off door, dirty towels and even underwear. Ants on the work surfaces. A friendly cleaner did arrive after an hour but this would have required a deep clean and some airing, the smell was unbearable. The host told me to burn a candle to get rid of the smell, he was aggressive and offered no real solution. I therefore was unable to stay.
