山郷 Sango

良くないとかではなかったですが、入口の上り坂がもうちょっと広ければいいなと感じました その他はのんびりと静かに過ごせたので大変よかったです また泊まりに行きたいです！

Staff greeted us on arrival and we were given a tour of the house and a general overview of how things worked. The view was absolutely spectacular. I could sit for hours on the sofa looking out to the snow covered woods. The view was definitely my favourite aspect of Sango Villa Shun. We even had a wild tanuki visit us on the first night and it came around again on the last night. The place was nice, clean and neat. We turned down room service as we did not require it, but staff were very friendly and accommodating, regularly replenishing any items that we needed.

I did not like the multiple steps on the ground floor. It took some getting used to, especially the step down in the kitchen area. A few of us tripped over on the first day but we were used to it after that. Our bed was also a bit creaky/squeaky for my liking

Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations by far. The view from the room was stunning, the beautiful bath and sauna were relaxing, and the staff was very helpful. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in Villa Shun 春 and it was spectacular. The architecture was beautiful and we loved how the glass windows made us feel that we were immersed in the surrounding nature. My kid in particular loved bug-watching in the evenings where you can see various moths and other insects resting on the glass panels. Beautifully designed place with lovely plates and cutlery. We ordered the breakfast and it was tasty - however - do note that you have to cook the eggs and sausages yourself!

Location a little out of the way - must have a car!

We liked the house a lot. It was modern and sufficiently equipped with kitchen tools because we wanted to do our own cooking. The house was well lit and spacious (there were four of us). All of the equipment had a QR code where we could try using Google Translate to figure out the instructions. We liked that this apartment allowed four friends to spend quality time eating and chatting together.

We were under the impression that it was a 3-bedroom, but it turns out one of the bedrooms was a connecting (no door) tatami room that had a sloped roof so it was not easy access for adults. One of the bedrooms did not have curtains for the high ceiling windows, and sunrise is at 4am at the end of May, so it was hard to sleep in (we're on vacation). For four people to share one bathroom is a little bit difficult to coordinate. The villa gave us the impression that it was in "nature," but actually, all of the rooms on the property are right next to a highway. With closed double pane windows, you can see nature (trees), but once a door is open to allow fresh air into the apartment, the highway noise also comes with it. Before you book, just look at a Google Map so you can decide if this place is right for you.

Very modern, clean, well equipped and spacious with nice view. Owner / staff are very friendly, explained everything in detail and provided complementary beverages, puddings and beers. Breakfast ingredients provided was fresh and delicious.

There may be too many random steps in the living room - sometimes make you stumbled. The road to the accommodation is a small path branched out from the main road - you need to pay extra attention not to miss it.
