Quiet, pretty countryside location, pub with good food directly opposite.

Had trouble with doorkey.

Location good as I was working in the area, also the right side to get to Bath or Bristol

Door lock could of been better. It was always restful and quiet. Great little hideaway not to large but really more of a short stay location, Pub across the road good food.

Ideal self catering compact cottage, with private off road parking. Great pub & restaurant across the road.

We really loved the location of this accommodation, that was the main reason we chose here! We wanted something basic as we were going to be out the majority of the time. The beams in the property were beautiful and the cute windows filled the place with character. We loved that there were essentials such as oil washing up supplies and a loo roll as well as bedding and towels ready for our arrival. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed it for.

We were disappointed by the cleanliness of the property, the amount of large cobwebs and spiders was quite disturbing. I have a severe fear of spiders so I did not sleep at all the first night so maybe just be aware. Another thing was that the kettle didn't work so we boiled water on the hob for hot drinks. We didn't bother messaging the owner as it didn't bother us too much but I'm sure they would have sorted it for us if we did. The shower head was covered in thick mould that was easily cleaned off but it was clear no one had tried. The toilet had skid marks and pubes all over it as well as hairs in the sink. Also the dishes were all dirty so we washed them before use. Lastly the mattress was awful and could do with being replaced as when you lay on it you can feel the base of the bed. Overall we had a lovely stay but wouldn't stay again unless the mattress was changed and the cleanliness improved.
