GBGBThe property such that it is is OK.
The cupboards were very bare. Literally two mugs, two glasses, two of everything. The sun on the windows created an oven. A couple of windows opened a few inches. No relief from heat but let in mouse form air conditioning over the road. We had booked for two nights but had to leave after one. For only £20 more per night we found a great hotel in York, very comfortable, air conditioning, all we needed. On the other hand, Sarah, our staff contact was very helpful and pleasant. She mentioned having a fan left for us which we did not see and would have helped very little. Unlucky with the weather, then (heat wave) and Wakefield itself was a mess. We were there for Hepworth Wakefield Gallery and Yorkshire Sculpture Park which were good but the town was not what we hoped for.

The only issue we found was a lack of drinking glasses. We could've done with a couple of wine glasses. The entrance to the property is a little shabby but it's a communal area.
GBGBthe property itself was kept relatively clean, the location was most certainly very good and close to many shops.
There were no simple things such as extra toilet paper roll, detergent, hair dryer. some cutlery was still dirty. the baking tray was very oily and dirty when pulled out the oven. in comparison to other places with similar prices, i would say it is not worth the amount payed.

No hairdryer and no lift. We were on the 2nd floor. A resident informed us that it had been out of order for 8 months. If true that is very poor indeed.
GBGBWith absoloutley nothing to dislike, we liked everything. What made this place stand out was the little extra things that made a big difference. First stepping foot inside it felt extremely homely. The apartment was heated to a lovely temperature which after travelling and wanting to rest made a world of difference. It was like the place gave us a big warm hug as soon as we walked in. Another small but big difference was at check out time and we'd overslept a bit. Was there any knock on the door hurrying us or a phonecall asking why we weren't out on time.... no. We left the apartment 1 hour later than we should and the staff obviously recognise things like that happen and had accounted for it which made what could have been a stressful departure rushing to leave, actually the opposite and it was a breeze. I initially booked quite late in the evening and Sarah was in touch straight away to thank us for booking with her and provided us with everything we needed to know, before we needed to know it and she was on point from start to finish.
