The Mud - Eco Hotel

The Mud är en unik resort med sinne för detaljer med jättemysig trädgård, pool/strandbar😍. Underbart vänlig och hjälpsam personal.

Läget. Avsaknaden av badvänlig strand. Det gick att bada på morgonen men det är så väldigt långgrunt så på eftermiddagen när det är lågvatten blir det svårt. Avlägset till att kunna gå till andra restauranger.

Kein Kritikpunkt

Das Hotel liegt im Nordwesten und ist daher nicht in der typischen Touristen Gegend. Wer flexibel / Mobil ist für den ist es ein Traumhaft ruhiger Ort zum Entspannen. Die Bungalows sind toll eingerichtet und haben Flair! Frühstück war inbegriffen und ausreichend. Abends zum essen lädt das Restaurant ebenfalls sehr ein. Die Gerichte sind sehr lecker zubereitet und vom Preis her auch nicht zu teuer. Der Pool liegt direkt am Meeresufer und man könnte direkt rein springen, wenn das Wasser nicht so flach wäre. Das Servicepersonal ist Top und ist sehr aufmerksam, aber auch unauffällig.

Es gibt eigentlich nichts negatives zu sagen, außer das die Klimageräte der Bungalows zu hören waren. Die Betreiber haben 4-6 große Hunde und diese machen auch gerne mal ein Haufen wenn sie ausgeführt werden. Uns hat es nicht gestört da es auch sofort entfernt wurde.

We had an amazing stay at The Mud. We loved especially the staff. They all were totally amazing.. The accommodation you could not fault. Being on the west side of the island you were away from the busy side if you weren't looking for lots of shops etc it was great.

Such a calm atmosphere, and incredibly kind and welcoming staff. The room is very spacious and I loved the interiors - earthy, unique and beautiful. The private deck with a hammock is a perfect spot to read and journal. The garden is lush and peaceful, making the whole property feel like a little sanctuary. My favourite moment each day was spending time at the café/restaurant’s decking seats. The view from there is absolutely stunning — a perfect place to sit with a coffee and take in the scenery. Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet offered both Western and Thai options, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I particularly loved the Thai sweets and the daily soup with fresh herbs - clean, nourishing and delicious.

The location was the property sits on a fairly busy main road, and there is no pavement, so it can feel a bit unsafe to walk outside the hotel to nearby bars or restaurants. There are also no convenience stores like 7-Eleven within easy walking distance, so it’s best to have transport. The beach in front is very shallow at low tide, which makes for beautiful walks, but it’s not really ideal for swimming. The swimming pool is quite small, better suited for kids playing rather than swimming.

Beautiful quiet setting with lovey restaurant. Great beach especially at sunset watching the horses. The beach huts have everything you need to relax. Great local restaurants as well.
