The Heathers - Spacious 3 Bed, Home from Home in Burton

The property is spacious and absolutely immaculate. It looks like a show home and is very well furnished and kitted out with anything you could want. There's also a nice back garden.

I really didn't like the registration process, hence my low rating for somewhere that I've otherwise described as excellent. You book through booking.com as usual but then, in order to get the keycode for the keybox, you have to fill in a registration form and pay a £200 deposit. I wasn't expecting to pay a deposit but I do understand that some guests can be unreliable about how they treat the property. However, the registration form made me extremely uncomfortable - I had to provide photo ID which just meant that I spent the whole holiday wondering whether my identity was about to be stolen and checking my bank account for unusual activity. There wasn't any but it made me uncomfortable. If you don't mind this, then it's an excellent property.

A great home from home. Everything a hotel offers, but with the added comfort, space and privacy that a home can offer. Neighbours seemed friendly in my brief interactions. Nice modern decor.

I can't think of anything really. It is an expensive option I guess, but this is my first foray into a non hotel option so I am unsure as to whether it is competitively priced or not, though it did seem pretty good value compared with some hotel options as I recall
