"Lovely secret hideaway tucked in the city of Funchal!"

Ana Luísa and João were so attentive and helpful. The property was beautiful and even though it is about a 30 minute walk to Funchal center, the route is lovely (especially if you catch it at sunset) and being away from the bustle gives you a chance to appreciate the natural scenery even in the busy capital city. The facilities were well maintained and the wifi connection was consistently strong, so I was able to get my work done in between hikes. Next time I am in Funchal, I will definitely stay here again.

The beds are a tad uncomfortable, but nothing unmanageable and the walls are on the thinner side, so I would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
