Maven's Inn & Grill

The AC barely worked & the shower was tiny.

Close to a market and dollar store for anything we needed (we didn’t need anything but it’s always nice to be near a store). We ate dinner one night of our stay, great food and great drinks! Live music on patio was nice. Backyard is huge - I should’ve brought a football or something for my son to play with the other kids with but they made the most of playing tag. Owner was waitressing and was a sweetheart.

Double room #6 was spacious and clean. However, it had carpet instead of the flooring pictured online. The beds were firm but comfortable. The microwave and fridge came in handy. The free snacks and water were nice and the burger and appetizers at the grill were great.

The shower is as small as it looks online but the water pressure is great. I had to get help with the Direct cable t.v. signal and track down a coffee maker. If you like to listen to good music then this is the spot for you. The walls are really thin so I could hear the music coming from the outdoor patio every night, especially on Wednesday's karaoke night. During my stay, the music was over between 10-11pm.

Great location and good live music in grill on weekends.

We asked for a different room when we checked in because the room was very musty and cleaner/chemical smelling. Second room was better, but we asked to have ac filter changed because the ac cut off and on to quickly all night and we woke up all congested. Also, we didn’t have a remote for the tv the first night. The owner was very attentive to our needs and second night was much better; no congestion next morning. The beds and sheets were very comfortable. There are no Kleenex in the room; which is odd for an inn/motel.
