Severn End - 15th Century Manor House!

Beautiful 15th-century manor full of character. The master bedroom is excellent and the fireplace makes it feel cosy and welcoming.

Kitchen and bathroom are modern and very clean, but they don’t really suit the style of the house.

Location and grounds amazing

This property exceeded all expectations and would recommend a stay here to anyone! Already thinking about a reason to return. Gorgeous sitting room with giant fire which keeps the whole room warm, bedrooms were comfy, spacious and the wooden bed in the panelled bedroom is enormous! So luxurious. Kitchen well equipped with everything you’d ever need down to cake tins! Host very helpful when we wanted more logs and accommodating when we arrived in lots of different cars. Also loved Nigel the cat! Thank you for making my 30th birthday with friends extra special.

Not a single thing that we didn’t like, however, I’m glad I listened to one of the review that suggested brining blankets as it was on the chillier side (we visited in Feb!). It’s also worth noting that the property is joined onto two private residences at the living room and in the entrance hall. No noise and couldn’t hear anyone just something that I hadn’t anticipated.

What a special place to stay. Enormous hallway and lounge with a wonderful fireplace ( bring extra wood) . A real throwback to another time with modern touches ( ie the bathrooms and kitchen ). Made for a great relaxing stay.

It had lots of character and great spacious areas. The hosts were very friendly and topped up our wood for the fire. Amazing place to get away from the city.

I’d make sure if you are coming in the winter that you bring blankets and hot water bottles as it gets very cold even with the heating on.
