⚠️ SCAM ALERT — STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY AND MR. W LISTINGS ⚠️ This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing travel experiences we’ve ever had. The listing falsely advertised a 2-bedroom apartment with 2 king beds — but when we arrived, we were shocked to find it was only a 1-bedroom unit. No explanation. No upgrade. No apology. Just false advertising. The problems didn’t stop there. The in-room safe was broken and completely unusable, which made it impossible to securely store our belongings. There was no TV, even though the listing clearly claimed there would be one. It felt like the most basic expectations were deliberately ignored. We tried calling the owner multiple times — no one ever responded. Total radio silence. When we contacted Expedia, the representative acknowledged that yes, this situation looked like a scam and agreed we paid for something we didn’t receive. But after days of back-and-forth, they ultimately did nothing to help us. We are incredibly disappointed in both the property owner and Expedia. They allowed this fraudulent listing to stay live, and even after confirming the issue, failed to do anything meaningful to correct it. We are now being forced to file a chargeback with our bank. Please — do not book this property and avoid any listings by MR. W. This was a deeply distressing, misleading experience that ruined part of our trip. We’re sharing this in hopes of sparing others the same headache, stress, and financial loss.

The sheets were humid. The screen of the principal bedroom did not work right. Noise from a bar downstairs.

A nice sized apartment, in a good area, for a decent price. Yami saved the day, in so many ways. She stepped in twice to manage problems that we had. She went above and beyond, offering to meet us at bag storage etc. she took the time to show us everything, and literally responded instantly when a second issue arose. Super friendly and clearly works hard to keep everyone happy. Thanks Yami! The following is apartment 204 specific Pros - The staff were all extremely friendly, and resolved the two issues we had. Front desk and housekeeping were incredibly friendly and helpful. Lots of toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner. Decent towels. Also cooking oil, salt, sugar and coffee for the drip coffee machine. Internet is strong and reliable, great “work from home” desk and office chair. There is a combined washer and dryer, bring detergent. Super useful when on long trips. The building is very clean. Some lovely architectural features, stairs lovely. Four small bottles of water are provided for drinking. Lots of big mirrors in every room, this helps brighten the place.

Cons - The description says two queen beds - actually one king and one double. A good job our friends really like each other ;). The king size bedroom was very damp, our clothes became very damp too. There is paint peeling on the ceiling and walls, and mould that has been cleaned, but still exists in corners. The double bedroom is fine. A heater for each room is needed in winter, in the end we heated the living room, with the only heater provided, and left the bedrooms cold. Cleaning in the apartment could be better, very dusty behind the beside tables, and in the corners. The Concierge did not arrive to store bags as previously agreed, so we had to pay for storage, and waste time doing it. An issue with wet linens on one bed was resolved, but again this took time out of our day. The TV should be in the living room, impossible for couples to watch tv with it in a bedroom. The living room only has two comfortable chairs, in a two bedroom apartment. A sofa would be a better addition If you are light sleepers, there is a wine bar under the apartment, and a busy road a few doors down.

Lovely neighborhood, very quiet and felt very safe. There were lots of restaurants, cafes and street food around the area. Easily walkable to the main attractions

Would have been good if the TV was in the lounge area rather than in one of the bedrooms. Also, would be good to have heaters in both of the bedrooms as it got cold at night
