Mary and James are the most gracious hosts. I have stayed 4x in different decades. Always great seeing them.Location to Ballybunion Golf Club is an easy walk.

Very clean and very well looked after

Mary and James were perfect hosts - just the Irish hospitality that we had been hoping for ! The accommodation is a short walk from the Ballybunion Golf Club, which served excellent food at reasonable prices. Our room, the Tom Watson Suite, was very spacious, clean and was furnished with quality classic furniture. We would happily return.

We have been in. Ireland for two weeks, and this was the best shower and most comfortable bed we have had since we arrived. Our hosts were absolutely charming and helpful, and the room had a great view of the golf course. We had not booked breakfast as we had intended to breakfast at the golf club. However, on viewing what was on offer, we changed our minds. So glad we did breakfast was exceptional.

Larger room than usual in Ireland.

The room was tired and needed modernising. The linen was old and towels thin. The owners spent considerable time advising us as to why they couldn't provide breakfast (although it should have been included) without charging me extra as Booking.com took too much margin and they were running at a loss. We didn't think that this matter should have been our issue. We were very disappointed in how much they spoke negatively about the site we have always used to book accommodation.
