Joan & Brian were so welcoming during our one night stay for a concert at Star Lake. Hickory House is beautiful inside & out — very clean and comfortable, loved that they renovated & upgraded, but maintained some of the house’s old charm. Our queen suite was bright & airy with plenty space, big bathroom, & such a comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious — great range of options & found it nice that they text before check-in to consider allergies/dietary needs. We hope to stay again in the future!

"A quiet and comfortable haven of tranquility in the midst of a long and stressful business trip."

The property is a lovingly and beautifully renovated mansion house in a quiet town. The owners who manage the property are wonderful hosts and I wished I could have stayed longer. Brian and Joan did everything they possibly could to make my stay comfortable and I hope that a return trip is possible to enjoy the experience again.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this exceptional property.
